August through mid-September (timeframe is approximate). Phase IV of C-TRAN's Service Streamlining Project begins this August and continues through mid-September. This phase of the project will cause the temporary closure of several stops along the following routes:
- 19 Salmon Creek
- 25 Fruit Valley/St. Johns
- 32 Hazel Dell/Evergreen & Andresen
- 38 Mill Plain/192nd
- 71 Hwy 99
- 72 Orchards
- 80 Van Mall/Fisher's
All affected stops will close for a few days while the work is completed by an outside contractor. Each stop will be posted with closure information, several days in advance. During each closure, passengers are asked to please use the next closest stop available to them. For a list of affected stops IDs, please click here.
C-TRAN's Service Streamlining Project allows for upgrades that are part of a federal requirement, mandated by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and include:
- Pouring of new concrete pads for easier wheelchair and lift access;
- Improved safety;
- Enhanced route and traffic flow; and
- Improved schedule reliability
