Due to a road improvement project on Northeast 99th Street, Route 72 will be on detour starting Monday, April 17, until the end of September 2017. Route 72 will use Northeast 95th Street between Northeast 117th Avenue and Northeast 126th Avenue during the detour (map).
The following stops will be closed during the detour:
- Stop ID 0890: NE 99th Street and 118th Avenue
- Stop ID 3343: NE 99th Street and 122nd Avenue
Stop ID 0814, at Northeast 117th Avenue and 95th Street, will NOT be served by Route 72, but will be served by Route 7 continuing north. The stop may be impacted by lane closures at times.
Passengers are asked to use the following alternate stops:
- Stop ID 3221: NE 117th Avenue and 87th Street
- Stop ID 3344: NE 99th Street and 126th Avenue
