2010 Clark County Fair Service
Beginning Friday, August 6 through Sunday, August 15, C-TRAN provides shuttle service to the Clark County Fair from the following locations:
- Fisher’s Landing Transit Center: Service begins at noon each day
- Westfield Vancouver Mall Transit Center: Service begins at noon each day
- 99th Street Transit Center: Service begins at noon each day
- Battle Ground: Service begins at 12:30 p.m. each day
- La Center Park & Ride: Service begins at 12:30 p.m. each day
- Ridgefield Park & Ride: Service begins at 12:40 p.m. each day
The last bus departs the Fairgrounds at 11:00 p.m., each evening.
C-TRAN event shuttles accept C-TRAN Event Shuttle Tickets, which can be pre-purchased from any Passenger Service Office, or online (please allow 10 days for processing) at www.c-tran.com. The round-trip cash cost is $2 per person. Exact change is required. Children six and under ride free. C-TRAN day and monthly passes are also accepted.
No Shuttles to Fair Concerts Held at the Amphitheater
The Fair will host performances at the Sleep Country Amphitheater on Friday, August 6; Saturday, August 7; and Monday, August 9. These performances will not have direct shuttle service to and from these events, outside of the normal Clark County Fair shuttle service. Please see the regular Fair Shuttle schedules for more information.
C-TRAN Event Shuttle Tickets Available
Avoid the lines and experience faster boarding times! Purchase your event shuttle tickets before you go.
- Sold at all Passenger Service Office locations;
- $2 per ticket;
- Valid for travel on C-TRAN event shuttles only; no transfers available;
- Day and Monthly passes also accepted on event shuttles;
- Children 6 years and under ride free.
C-TRAN Fare Changes: Effective September 1
The C-TRAN Board of Directors approved a $.05 increase on cash fares, with an additional increase to Day and Monthly passes based upon the new cash fare, effective September 1, 2010. Other changes include:
Changes to ID Requirements
- Senior ID: The minimum age requirement to qualify for a senior fare discount increases from age 62 to age 65. Those younger than 65, and who have a current C-TRAN Senior or Honored ID card, or a valid Medicare card, will be able to continue purchasing discounted senior fares after September 1, 2010.
- Youth ID: The minimum age required to show ID increases from 13 to 15 years of age. Valid ID includes C-TRAN Youth ID card, TriMet Youth/Student ID card, current Middle or Senior High School ASB card, or state issued ID showing proof of age. No other ID accepted.
Changes to Monthly Passes
R/Y/D monthly pass becomes Honored, Youth, and Reduced:
- Honored—Available to Seniors (65 years and older), Disabled, and Medicare members
- Honored C-Zone: $27
- Honored All-Zone: $31
- Youth—Available to passengers 7–18 years of age
- Youth C-Zone: $27
- Youth All Zone: $31
- Reduced—Available to those receiving food or medical assistance through the State of Washington
- Reduced C-Zone: $27
- Reduced All-Zone: Not available after August, 2010
Note to those transferring to TriMet: Adult All-Zone monthly passes can be purchased for $88, and do not require ID.
C-VAN monthly passes:
- C-VAN C-Zone: $48
- C-VAN All-Zone: Not available after August, 2010.
Note to those transferring to TriMet: Honored All-Zone monthly passes can be purchased for $31, and are valid on fixed-route buses and MAX; not valid for travel on C-VAN.
Changes to monthly passes take effect in August with the sale of September passes. Changes in ID requirements take effect September 1, 2010. For more information, please contact our Passenger Service Office at (360) 695-0123.
Shuttles to the Clark County Amphitheater
C-TRAN shuttles to the Amphitheater are available on concert days ONLY.
- Shuttles begin service to the Amphitheater 90 minutes prior to the concert’s start time, and run at least every 15 minutes. Shuttles are given priority to the Amphitheater’s east entrance.
- Service is provided only from the Salmon Creek Park & Ride to the Amphitheater. Shuttle service is not provided from any other C-TRAN location.
- Shuttles do not run during the concert.
- Shuttles begin return service to the Salmon Creek Park & Ride immediately following the concert and are given priority out of the Amphitheater parking lot. No connecting service is available from the Salmon Creek Park & Ride after the show.
- Shuttles accept pre-purchased C-TRAN Event Shuttle tickets, or day and monthly passes. The round-trip cash fare is $2 per passenger, exact change required.
- Cameras and Coolers are not permitted inside the Amphitheater.
- Shuttle service is not available for the Brad Paisley concert on Friday, September 10. This is due to the concert’s early start time, when C-TRAN buses are still in service for the evening commute.
