Vancouver, WA: C-TRAN Director of Operations Jim Quintana has assumed a new role as C-TRAN’s Chief of Safety and Security, overseeing an area critical to the success of the agency. In this position, Quintana will be tasked with C-TRAN’s comprehensive organizational safety and security, plus operations training.

“Safety and security is a major foundation in our mission to serve our customer as well as our employees.  This fits directly in line with the agency’s ‘Our Community, Our Promise’ initiative,” said Shawn M. Donaghy, C-TRAN’s Chief Executive Officer. “Jim is extremely well-qualified to lead this important initiative and C-TRAN, as well as our patrons, will be better for it.”

Quintana has served C-TRAN since 1988 in numerous positions. His past roles include operations and field supervision, dispatching and bus operator training. He’s also worked as C-TRAN’s administrator of organizational training and development, senior manager of customer service and communications, senior manager of development and public affairs and, most recently, as director of operations.

“I’m very excited about this new role, both personally and professionally,” Quintana said. “Safety and security are paramount to everything we do at C-TRAN, and it’s gratifying to have the opportunity to lead this effort. I’m dedicating myself to encouraging and facilitating the safety, security and well-being of our employees, customers and community.”
