Multiple routes will temporarily be on detour Friday, March 16, during the Paddy Hough Parade event near downtown Vancouver. Service impacts are expected to last from approximately 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The following routes will be impacted:
- The Vine will use a detour route resulting in one stop closure. The station at McLoughlin and Washington Street will be closed.
- Route 39 will travel its normal route on Columbia Street. Two bus stops along the parade route will be closed: Stop ID 0575 (Columbia at 24th Street southbound) and Stop ID 0535 (Columbia at 24th Street northbound). Passengers should use alternate stop locations one block south at Columbia and 23rd Street.
- Routes 30, 32 and 71 will use detour routes in the area, but will not miss any existing stops.
Passengers should be prepared for possible delays on any route in the area while the event is occurring. Additional information is posted at the affected stops. A map of the detour routes and stop closures is located here.
