Effective October 1, 2022

C-TRAN’s Youth Opportunity Pass (YOP) is available to anyone who is 18 years of age and under. It provides free access on C-TRAN Local services, including fixed-route, C-VAN paratransit (must be medically qualified to ride or ride with someone who is), The Current microtransit, and Vanpool.

The YOP program is only available on C-TRAN Local services and doesn’t extend to Regional or Express routes, or other transit systems. Additional fares will apply when transferring to these services.

How do I get YOP?

Those who attend a participating school may pick up the required Consent Form from their school or district office. You can also download it here. A YOP card will be provided once the Consent Form is completed and processed by your school or district. Participating schools and districts include:

  • Vancouver Public Schools
  • Evergreen School District
  • Battle Ground School District (includes Yacolt schools)
  • Camas School District
  • Ridgefield School District
  • Washougal School District
  • Washington State School for the Blind
  • Washington School for the Deaf

For students who are home-schooled, attending a private school, or Youth who are not enrolled in school, Consent Forms are available for download here. Once completed, you can visit a C-TRAN Customer Service Office to receive your YOP card. For your convenience, Consent Forms are also available at the C-TRAN Customer Service Office.
