Chief Operating Officer
Annette Shaw joined the C-TRAN team in 2024 and currently serves as the agency’s Chief Operating Officer. In that role, she leads C-TRAN’s largest division that includes fixed-route operations, paratransit and The Current on-demand service. Shaw also oversees C-TRAN’s Training department, Operations Administration, and Safety and Security. Shaw previously worked in various roles at MARTA in Atlanta, Ga., among them Rail Supervisor, Rail Instructor, Safety Operational Officer and Manager of Investigations. She also worked at TriMet in Portland, Ore., in the Operations Command Center. Shaw began her career in public transportation as a bus operator.
Shaw is a graduate of Indiana University. She holds a Transit Safety and Security Program Certificate, and is an Associate Instructor for the Transportation Safety Institute. Shaw has also completed the Public Transportation Safety Certification Training Program in bus and rail operations.
